Commander William (Liam) Goodwin

The photographer repeated child-like cues to NASA Commander William (Liam) Goodwin as he sat for the official mission portrait. She noted the astronaut’s kind, soft blue eyes. They seemed to pierce out of his strong yet weathering face. His head was topped with a short gathering of dirty blonde hair. Some streaks of his hair looked as bright and soft as a baby’s, others like they were permanently dulled by previous missions to the surface of the red planet. She could tell by his small but playful smile that he didn’t have the ego that accompanied many in his position. She would bet that he was a leader whose crew wanted to have a beer with him.
